Mentoring Program
Our Goal
This program connects rising Ingenieras (mentees) with professional Ingenieras (mentors) to provide guidance and offer both professional and personal insights. As Latina Engineers, we often face unique challenges, and this program creates a safe space for growth and exploration of future career opportunities. The program is designed to help mentees and mentors have meaningful conversations about career goals, challenges, life goals, growth opportunities, and more!
The program will run for 6 months, but we hope that the relationships between mentors and mentees will continue beyond this period. We encourage Ingenieras to stay connected and support each other in both their personal and professional journeys.

Disclaimer: Due to the high volume of applicants each year, former mentees of the Ingeniera Foundation Mentorship Program will not be re-selected. If you have applied in previous years and were not selected, we highly encourage you to reapply.
All former Mentors are strongly encouraged to apply again and continue to make a positive impact!
Our Program
Designed by Ingenieras for Ingenieras, this program creates a supportive and empowering space where you can show up authentically, build meaningful connections, and grow both professionally and personally. We recognize the unique experiences of Latinas in engineering and encourage open, honest conversations that foster confidence, belonging, and success.
Since launching in 2022 with 10 mentees and 20 mentors, our mentorship program has grown over the years, positively impacting over 170 engineering students and early-career professionals. This growth is powered by the passion and dedication of our volunteer mentors, who help guide the next generation of Latina Engineers.
As a mentee you will gain career guidance from experienced Latina engineers, build confidence and professional goals, expand your STEM network, and explore potential career opportunities.
As a mentor, you will make a meaningful and lasting impact in the Latina community while strengthening your leadership skills, sharing your experience with aspiring ingenieras, and building valuable professional connections.
Our goal is to spark relationships that last far beyond the program. These connections can become lifelong sources of mentorship, inspiration, and community.
2026 Applications are closed, please check back next February!
