The goal of this program is to connect rising Ingenieras with professional Ingenieras who have experience working in the industry, gain professional and personal insights as Ingenieras and to create a safe space to grow and be curious about their future careers.
This program is designed to give mentees and mentors the opportunity to have conversations about career, life goals, challenges, discuss opportunities for growth, and more.
This program is structured to run for 6 months, however we hope mentors and mentees to have lasting connections with each other beyond their 6 months together in this program and for Ingenieras to continue to unite and support one another in their life and career!
Mentee Application
Participation Description:
- This program is a 6-month long commitment
- Mentees must be Engineering students or early professionals (less than 2 yrs of experience)
- Each mentee will meet with each mentor at least once a month
- Each session will have a structured topic that should be covered to ensure that each mentee will get the most out of their experience in the program
Mentor Application
Participation Description:
- Looking for Mentors who are Latina Engineers*
- This program is a 6-month long commitment – June 2023 to December 2023
- Each mentor will be asked to mentor 1 to 2 mentees (undergraduate students or recent graduates)
- Each mentor will meet with each mentee at least once a month
- Each session will have a structured topic that should be covered to ensure that each mentee will get the most out of their experience in the program
- Must have at least 6 months of professional experience
- Former Mentors are highly encouraged to apply again
