2025 Scholarship Applications are CLOSED!
In 2024 ILEW reached at total of $26,000 awarded in scholarships towards the education of Latinas in Engineering throughout the nation.
This initiative is a part of our commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in STEM fields. We recognize the underrepresentation of Latina women in engineering and believe that by providing financial support, we can help bridge the gap and empower more women to pursue careers in this field. We hope that our efforts will not only encourage more Latinas to pursue engineering degrees, but also inspire other organizations to take similar action towards creating a more equitable and diverse workforce. Our goal is to see more women, especially those from historically marginalized communities, succeed and thrive in STEM fields.

Now Accepting Applications for the 2025 ILEW Scholarship!
The Latina Engineer x Ingeniera Foundation is proud to announce the 2025 ILEW Scholarship — awarding ONE (1) scholarship of $1,500 and FIVE (5) scholarships of $1,000 to support Latinas pursuing degrees in engineering.
This year, we are proud to present one honorary scholarship ($1,500) in the name of Michelle Tovar-Mora, our ILEW 2024 In Person Keynote Speaker, recognizing their lasting impact and inspiring legacy.
This opportunity is part of International Latina Engineer Week (ILEW), an annual event dedicated to uplifting and connecting our community, while providing critical resources for success in STEM. Since 2020, we’ve awarded $26,000 in scholarships to empower future Latina engineers — and this year, we’re continuing that mission.
